When 2011 started I thought everything was going to go smoothly until the start of my 2011 Big Trip. But life often challenges you and asks you how much you really want your dreams to come true. And all that you can do is to try to get through all of the stress and challenges and remind yourself that it is all worth it. And it is going to be worth it.
I always tend to go back to this photo during such moments, as it transports me back to that quiet spot in Bantayan beach where I can just look at the vast horizon and the calming blue waters and be reminded that life offers a lot of opportunities.
Some people see it as a ‘lonely’ photo. I don’t. I think it’s one of those rare moments when you can just forget all the chaos and clatters of the world, and just be at peace with where you are at the present and appreciate that there is still a future out there. It can be a good or bad one, but the most important thing is you’re constantly given so many chances in life to make things better. :)
